(WEST CHICAGO) No injuries have been reported after a freight train struck a car early Thursday afternoon in the western suburbs, but several trains on the Metra UP/West Line are facing major delays.

Highlake Road was temporarily closed from Sunset to Main Street, but has since reopened.

Metra UP/West line trains are operating between 30 and 85 minutes behind schedule as a result of the crash, according to Metra’s website.
