A person was injured when she fell into a sewer hole Wednesday morning in the South Side Englewood neighborhood.

The victim, a female whose age was not immediately available, fell into the hole at the intersection of Garfield and Emerald at 8:20 a.m., police said.

She had been pulled from the hole by 9:45 a.m., though the extent of her injuries was not yet known, police said.
