Jeff David Massey had a quick trigger in the bed, and it could have killed him and his girlfriend.
For some reason, Massey, of Decatur, Tenn., thought it would be a good idea to clean his gun while lying in bed with his 41-year-old girlfriend, Tammy Lynn Harris. Turns out, nothing good comes when packing that kind of heat in the bedroom.
The gun accidentally discharged, nailing Massey in the hand, while Harris took a shot in the knee.
The injuries were non-life threatening and both were treated and released.
