Man missing from West Side

Police are searching for a man who went missing Tuesday from the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

Robert Madera, 36, is missing from the 2300 block of West Roosevelt Road, according to a high-risk missing person alert from Area Central detectives.

Madera is described as a 5-foot-7, 135-pound unshaven white man with blonde hair, hazel eyes and a light complexion. He was last seen wearing a bright orange loose-fitting tank, dark-colored basketball shorts and either brown sandals or black gym shoes.

He has been known to frequent the area of West Harrison Street and South Western Avenue, police said.
