A Walgreens store in southwest suburban Palos Park has been reopened after authorities investigated a foul odor Tuesday afternoon.

The store at 13020 S. La Grange Rd. was closed about 2 p.m. while authorities investigated the source of the “foul smell,” according to a statement from Palos Park police.

Crews checked the store’s heating and cooling system, but have not yet been able to determine the source of the smell, police said.

The store was reopened to customers as of 5 p.m., police said. No one was injured.
