A 20-year-old man was shot Wednesday afternoon in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The man was shot in the leg about 3:40 p.m. in the 7400 block of South Vincennes by someone firing from a black SUV, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

Area South detectives are investigating.
