A TCF Bank branch was robbed Thursday evening in west suburban Stickney.

The non-takeover robbery happened about 6:40 p.m. inside a Jewel-Osco grocery store at 7122 W. 40th St., according to the FBI.

The robber was described as a male wearing a tan jacket with the hood up, a red scarf and glasses, the FBI said.
