Woman seriously wounded in Heart of Chicago shooting

A woman was seriously wounded in a Heart of Chicago neighborhood shooting early Sunday on the South Side.

Shortly after 4 a.m., the 25-year-old was shot in the left arm while standing on the sidewalk in the 2100 block of West 19th Street, according to Chicago Police.

She was taken in serious condition to Stroger Hospital, police said.
