Harry Reid: Koch brothers are 'main cause' of global warming

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) has been on a crusade against the Koch brothers, and Wednesday he sounded off on them again — putting the climate change blame squarely on their shoulders.

While the Koch brothers admit to not being experts on the matter, these billionaire oil tycoons are certainly experts at contributing to climate change. That’s what they do very well. They are one of the main causes of this. Not a cause — the main cause, Reid said while on the Senate floor. The University of Massachusetts, Amherst … ranked Koch Industries as one of the nation’s biggest air and water polluters, period. They are the champions.

Koch Industries has been labeled as one of the largest polluters by the Political Economy Research Institute.
