How crazy would another Mitt Romney run for the White House be? Totally insane, says Sen. Rand Paul, R-Kentucky.

In an interview Wednesday with the New Hampshire Journal, Paul made it clear where he stands on Romney going for it for a third time.

When you do the same thing and expect a different result, it’s sort of what Einstein said, that the definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over again and expect a different result.

While Paul said his comments about Romney aren’t personal, it’s time for the former governor to move on.

“A couple of months ago he said that he’d had his chance and it was time for somebody new,” Paul said. “He was probably right when he said that.

““I think we do need somebody and something new,” Paul said.
