Four people were hurt in a crash early Saturday in Hegewisch on the Far South Side.

It happened shortly before 4 a.m. when a 28-year-old woman turned left in front of two semi-trucks in the 13000 block of South Torrence, touching off a three-vehicle collision that saw one of the trucks flip over, according to the police.

The woman was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, and a 54-year-old man at the wheel of one of the trucks was taken to Franciscan St. Margaret Health in Hammond, Indiana, the police said. A man in his 40s driving the other truck and a 14-year-old boy riding with him were being treated at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
