Cubs prospect Anthony Giansanti hasn’t gotten the ink that fellow prospects Kris Bryant, Addison Russell, Javy Baez or Kyle Schwarber have received this season, but he found another way to get his name known.

Giansanti, 26, who has been in the Cubs farm system since 2010, has been courting Ronda Rousey throughout this summer by leaving a baseball ticket for her at every game.

He tweeted at her Monday in yet another effort to catch her eye:

Rousey will be much more likely to notice Giansanti now, because his pursuit has been picked up by ESPN, Sports Illustrated, The Sporting News, Fox Sports and many more media outlets.

“She’s an incredible fighter,” Giansanti told the Des Moines Register. “I’m a big UFC fan and she’s also incredibly good looking. I mean, why not?”

Giansanti is a career .256 hitter in six seasons in the minors. He’s currently playing at Triple-A Iowa.
