The game will be made up Saturday as part of a straight doubleheader.

The weather at Guaranteed Rate Field was even worse than this photo shows.

The White Sox didn’t play any baseball Friday. The next three days will more than make up for it.

Thanks to Friday’s postponement because of rain, the Sox and Orioles will play a straight doubleheader Saturday at Guaranteed Rate Field — a test for the Sox even though both games are scheduled for seven innings and they’ll be adding a 27th man. After the series finale against the Orioles on Sunday, they’re scheduled to play another doubleheader Monday in Cleveland for a total of five games in three days.

Dallas Keuchel, who had been scheduled to start Friday, will face the Orioles’ Matt Harvey in the first game Saturday. Lance Lynn will face John Means in the second.
