Fred Armisen and Our Town’s own Billy Zane are the latest stars to jump aboard Ben Stiller’s “Zoolander 2,” the sequel to his 2001 supermodel spoof flick.

As is the trend these days, Armisen’s casting was announced via Twitter and Instagram, following a similar posting by Stiller about Zane.

Among others who already were signed from the original cast are Owen Wilson, Christine Taylor and Will Ferrell, plus new cast members Kristen Wiig, who recently starred with Stiller in “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty,” and Cyrus Arnold as Zoolander’s son.

Stiller will again direct as well as play the title character. Justin Theroux has penned the screenplay for the sequel and will also appear on screen.

“Zoolander 2” is scheduled to open February 12 of next year.
