A 65-year-old woman died after a crash Monday afternoon near west suburban Naperville.

The two-vehicle crash happened at Book Road and 83rd Street in unincorporated Naperville about 3:50 p.m., according to the DuPage County sheriff’s office.

The occupant of one of the vehicles, 65-year-old Linda Engel of Naperville, was taken to Edward Hospital in Naperville, where she was pronounced dead, according to a statement from the sheriff’s office.

The couple in the other vehicle were also taken to hospitals. A man was taken to Edward Hospital, and a woman to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.

No additional details were released.
