Man shot in Lawndale

A 30-year-old man was fatally shot Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022, in Roseland.

A man was shot last Saturday in the Lawndale neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 18-year-old was standing on the sidewalk at 11:19 p.m. in the 3900 block of West 18th Street when he heard gunfire and realized he’d been shot in the right leg, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
