A 25-year-old man was shot Friday night in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side.

He was standing outside about 10:10 p.m. in the 10700 block of South Champlain when someone in a passing vehicle fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

He suffered a gunshot wound to the knee and was taken to Advocate Trinity Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
