A woman was found dead inside a vehicle at a Chicago city auto pound on the Far South Side on Saturday.

The body was found around 3 p.m. at the auto pound near East 103rd Street and South Doty Avenue in South Deering, according to the police.

They said the cause of death was not immediately apparent and that they are conducting a death investigation.
