Two people robbed a store at gunpoint Sunday afternoon in west suburban Naperville.

Officers responded at 2:06 p.m. to the armed robbery in the 2800 block of Route 59, according to a statement from Naperville police.

The robbers were gone by the time officers arrived. A man and woman had entered a store, showed a weapon and stole cellphones and personal items from the victims, police said.

The woman was described as black, standing 5-foot-5 and weighing 110 pounds. The man, who was wearing a mask, was described as black, 5-foot-5 and 130 pounds, police said.
