More than six weeks after undergoing eye surgery to repair a left orbital fracture, Derrick Rose said he’s still seeing double.

Putting up career-low numbers through nine games this season, Rose is averaging just 12.6 point per game and shooting just 36 percent from the field.

First-year coach Fred Hoiberg said the former MVP’s double vision could last up to three months.

But the coach and player don’t appear to see eye-to-eye. When asked about the subject, Rose said he was never given that time table.

“This is my first time hearing about it,” Rose said, via ESPN. “But you kind of have that hope in your mind that it gets well a lot quicker. But for this to be seven or eight [weeks] out and still the same way, I can’t do nothing but live with it.”

He went on to say that the blurry vision has caused him to miss a lot of shots that he would normally hit.

Despite Rose’s struggles, the Bulls have managed to get off to a 6-3 start. They’ll host Indiana on Monday.
