A man was shot at a party in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side late Friday.

The man, 32, was at a party in the 7000 block of South Wolcott about 11:40 p.m. when someone fired at him from a gangway, police said.

He was shot in the upper leg and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition had stabilized, police said.

A police source said the man is a documented gang member.
