Police are looking for a man and woman suspected in two Irving Park robberies on the North Side.

The two have approached people and started a conversation with them, an alert from Area North detectives said. The man then implies he has a weapon and announces a robbery before taking the person’s belongings, the alert said.

The first incident happened in the 4000 block of North Central Park on at 11:20 p.m. on Nov. 20th, detectives said. The second happened at 1:30 a.m. on Nov. 21st in the 4000 block of North Keystone.

In one of the incidents, the female robber was pushing a stroller, but the victim was not sure whether a child was in it, the alert said.

One of the robbers is described as a 170-pound black man, between 25 to 35 years old and between 5-foot-10 to 6-feet-tall. He has black hair and brown eyes, the alert said. The female robber is also black, between 25 to 30 years old, with brown eyes and long black hair, the alert said. Her suspected weight was not provided.
