A man was shot and seriously wounded Friday morning in the Gresham neighborhood on the South Side.

The 37-year-old man suffered gunshot wounds to the back and arm about 10:10 a.m. in the 8000 block of South Loomis, police said.

He was taken in serious condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said.
