Man shot in West Ridge

A man was shot early Tuesday in the West Ridge neighborhood on the North Side.

The 26-year-old was traveling in a vehicle about 1:40 a.m. in the 3100 block of West Devon when another vehicle pulled up alongside and someone inside yelled gang slogans and fired shots, police said.

The man suffered a graze wound to the ear and was taken to Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, where his condition had stabilized, police said.
