Hinsdale Central’s girl lacrosse team played Montinion Fridayand won 16 to 11.Kate Christian and Anna Santulli led the Red Devils, each with sevenpoints (threegoals and fourassists for Christian;fourgoals and threeassists for Anna.

After jumping to a quick 3-0 lead, Montini came roaring back and, at one point, narrowed the lead to only one goal.But Hinsdale Central scored just twice within one minute of halftime, making the lead 8-5 at halftime.

Overall, it was a great team effort by Hinsdale Central in a game that was closer than the score indicated.Jacquie Edwards had twogoals and oneassist, Honour Mallaney,Yaz Hamood andAnne Richter each had two goals while Gracyn Elliot added one.

A notable mention goes out to Mallaney, who was named Notable Player of the Weekfor her performance the previous week by Nike/US Lacrosse Midwest Girls Lacrosse.Congrats, Honour!
