A 26-year-old woman was shot in the South Side Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood Saturday afternoon.
She was standing outside in the 6800 block of South Perry about 2:15 p.m. when a white SUV drove up and a passenger fired multiple shots at her, police News Affairs Officer Thomas Sweeney said.
The woman was shot in the arm and taken to Saint Bernard Hospital and Health Care Center in good condition, Sweeney said.
