(CRYSTAL LAKE) Police are searching for a man who robbed a 7-Eleven store Saturday in northwest suburban Crystal Lake.

At 12:24 p.m., the man entered the 7-Eleven in the 0-100 block of Berkshire Drive, walked behind the counter and forced the clerk to open the register, according to Crystal Lake police.

He grabbed cash and ran out, police said.

The suspect is described as a white man between 25 and 35, 5-foot-10 to 6-foot with a thin build, brown collar-length hair and clean-shaven except for his chin. He was wearing a blue zippered hooded sweatshirt with a logo on the front breast and back, a black baseball cap, blue jeans and black gym shoes.
