Burglars targeted businesses on West Town block

Burglars have targeted businesses on one West Town block three times in the last week, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

The burglaries in the 1500 block of West Chicago Avenue happened at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, at 4 a.m. Friday, and at 4:12 a.m. Saturday, according to the alert.

The burglars break front glass doors or windows and take property, police said.
