The Bears would like to interview Cardinals defensive coordinator Todd Bowles for a second time later this week, sources told the Sun-Times late Monday.

Bowles’ first interview came Thursday, on GM Ryan Pace’s first day on the job. Pace interviewed him minutes after signing his contract.

The clock is ticking: the Bears will interview Lions defensive coordinator Teryl Austin on Tuesday at Halas Hall, and could be interested in Broncos head coach John Fox, who parted ways with the team Monday.

Bowles will have his second interview with the Jets and Falcons this week, according to an NFL Network report Monday.

Only four teams allowed fewer than the Bowles’ defense, which gave up 18.7 points per game this season.
