Weird Al, New Kids on the Block set for Chicago tour stops

It’s official: “Weird Al” Yankovic and New Kids on the Block have both added Chicago stops to their respective tours.

Weird Al hits town with his Mandatory World Tour June 27 with a 7:30 p.m. show at the Chicago Theatre, 175 N. State. Tickets, 33.50-$53.50, go on sale at 10 a.m. Jan. 30 via the theater box office or ticketmaster.com.

Yankovic is touring behind his No. 1 Billboard chart comedy album “Mandatory Fun,” released this summer. (The album is also nominated for a best comedy album Grammy). Yankovic is currently featured as a singing monk in the ABC four-week series “Galavant.”

New Kids on the Block bring their summer headlining Main Event tour to the Allstate Arena on May 23. Special guests include TLC and Nelly.
