A man was shot to death Monday afternoon in the West Pullman neighborhood on the South Side.

Officers responding to a call of shots fired at 2:25 p.m. in the 300 block of East 120th Street found a 23-year-old man unresponsive with a gunshot wound in the back of a vacant lot, according to Chicago Police.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office confirmed the death, but did not release additional information.
