While it appears Bobby Brown still holds out hope his daughter Bobbi Kristina will exit her coma and return to normal, her grandmother, Cissy Houston, seems to be more realistic about the sad situation.

In an interview on New York radio station WBLS Wednesday, Whitney Houston’s mom said there’s “not a great deal of hope” for that kind of recovery.

“We’ve moved her to a place for rehabilitation,” she said. “And you know, still not a great deal of hope.” But the deeply religious singer added, “[We’re] still praying” and expressed thanks for the many, many messages of support and love from fans around the world.

Houston said she feels “every bit of it,” and revealed that she has already made peace with the devastating situation.

“I don’t pray like that. I give it to God one time, because He’s able. And I cannot change a thing. I’m asking everybody, just pray to the Lord who we know CAN do something about it. If He works a miracle, thank God. If it happens the other way, I’m alright.”
