A man was injured in a drive-by shooting Wednesday morning in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The 19-year-old was walking in the 6800 block of South Hoyne about 10:25 a.m. when a gray minivan drove up and someone inside fired shots, police said.

The victim was shot in the chest and taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition stabilized, police said.
