Soldier Field video boards will be 310 percent larger next year, the Bears announced Tuesday, and will have what the team claims will be the best picture quality in the NFL.

Installation of the two boards — which will measure 40 feet tall and 128 feet wide — will be completed as soon as July 1. They will feature scores down the left-hand side.

The team is also installing a 444-foot ribbon board on the fascia of the 200 level’s west side. Ribbons on the 300 level will increase by 70 feet, to 390 feet

The team is also creating The Den, a sports bar and club on the west mezzanine level, it said in a newsletter to season ticket holders.
