A man was hurt in a drive-by shooting early Monday in the Portage Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The 20-year-old was walking on the street in the 5900 block of West Montrose about 2 a.m. when a red minivan pulled up and someone inside fired shots, police said.

He was shot in the arm and taken in good condition to Community First Medical Center.

Police said the man has gang affiliations.
