A 15-year-old boy was shot Monday afternoon in the Logan Square neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The teen was walking in the 3100 block of West Armitage about 1:45 p.m. when a vehicle pulled up alongside him. Someone inside the vehicle then yelled at him and fired shots, police said.

The teen was shot in the leg and taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where his condition had stabilized.

Police said the shooting appears to be gang-related.
