A lot of business transactions take place on the golf course. That leaves non-golfers at a disadvantage.

Don’t let that happen to you, ladies. June is Women’s Golf Month, and to mark it, Women On Course is sponsoring golf clinics at Chicago golf courses. Women On Course is a networking organization that’s trying to get more women interested in the game.

For those who’ve never golfed before this is a chance to learn the fundamentals. Already a golfer? Come and learn how to improve your game. There are five clinics — three being held Tuesday (June 23) — and two on June 30. (There are clinics across the country, as you will see here.)

The clinics are an hour long and cost $10 each. Go here to register.

Don’t be afraid to start, either. A solid 36 percent of newbies to the game are female, according to Women on Course statistics. You’d be in good company!
