Man shot in back in Roseland

A man was shot in the back Tuesday morning in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The 21-year-old victim was shot in the 11400 block of South Prairie at 10:46 a.m., police News Affairs Officer Ana Pachecho said, citing preliminary information.

He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition has stabilized, Pacheco said.

Additional details about the shooting were not immediately available.
