Jarrett Payton: Cubs have overtaken Bears in Chicago

This is not the best of times for Bears fans.

Jarrett Payton, the son of Bears legend Walter Payton, has seen the good and bad. But the WGN/CLTV sports host is not sure he’s ever seen it this bad.

Appearing on “The Dan Patrick Show,” Payton said something about Chicago that didn’t ever seem possible.

I don’t think anybody expected it to be this bad, especially in a town right now where baseball has taken over with the Cubs. You see the tide switching just a little bit. I know this is a Bears town, but people are talking about the Cubs more than the Bears. And, since I’ve been born that hasn’t happened.
