This is not the best of times for Bears fans.

Jarrett Payton, the son of Bears legend Walter Payton, has seen the good and bad. But the WGN/CLTV sports host is not sure he’s ever seen it this bad.

Appearing on “The Dan Patrick Show,” Payton said something about Chicago that didn’t ever seem possible.

I don’t think anybody expected it to be this bad, especially in a town right now where baseball has taken over with the Cubs. You see the tide switching just a little bit. I know this is a Bears town, but people are talking about the Cubs more than the Bears. And, since I’ve been born that hasn’t happened.
