Two men shot in Washington Park

Two men were wounded in a Washington Park neighborhood shooting Sunday afternoon on the South Side.

The men, ages 23 and 25, were walking on 58th Street near Prairie Avenue when a gold car pulled up and someone inside opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

The younger man was shot in the neck and the older in the face, police said.

Both were taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in fair condition. The younger man later was transferred to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
