A west suburban man has been charged with robbing the same Aurora tanning salon twice last year.

David Langford, 30, has been charged with two counts each of burglary and criminal damage to property, both felonies, according to a statement from Aurora police.

Langford broke into an L.A. Tan in the 400 block of North Eola Road on Oct. 19; then again on Oct. 28, police said. He broke through a large window after 11 p.m. and either stole or tried to take money left in cash registers.

The total damage from the broken windows totaled about $2,000, police said.

Police said Langford is also a suspect in other area break-ins. Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at (630) 256-5500.

Langford, whose last known address was in the 1300 bock of Monona Avenue in Aurora, is being held on unrelated charges at the Kane County Correctional Center.
