A man was wounded in a shooting Friday afternoon in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side.

The 20-year-old told investigators that he was shot by a male suspect in the 1400 block of West Garfield Boulevard at 12:55 p.m., police said.

He suffered gunshot wounds to both legs and was taken to St. Bernard Hospital where he was treated and released.

The man is being uncooperative with investigators, police said.
