Man shot in Englewood

A man was shot early Sunday in the South Side Englewood neighborhood.

About 2:45 a.m., the 18-year-old was traveling in a vehicle in the 0-100 block of West Garfield Boulevard when he heard gunfire and realized he’d been shot in the left buttocks, according to Chicago Police.

He later showed up at St. Bernard Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said. He was expected to be transferred to Stroger Hospital.
