Man wounded in Park Manor shooting

A 35-year-old man was hospitalized after shot in the abdomen by someone who walked up to him as he stood in the 100 block of East 69th Street in Park Manor on the South Side just after 2:30 p.m. Saturday, the police said.

He was being treated at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, they said.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
