A 16-year-old boy who was shot Sunday afternoon in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side later walked into a hospital.

The teenager walked into Mount Sinai Hospital with a gunshot wound to the abdomen about 12:45 p.m., according to Chicago Police. He was listed in critical condition.

He told investigators he was shot in the 2800 block of West Fillmore, police said.
