A man was shot and critically wounded Saturday night in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side.

About 11 p.m., the 20-year-old was walking east on West 45th Street near South Honore Street when a white vehicle drove by and someone inside fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

The man suffered gunshot wounds to the right leg and groin and was taken in critical condition to Stroger Hospital, police said.
