Arlington Heights police are warning residents of the northwest suburb about someone shooting homes and vehicles with a BB gun.

Someone has shattered windows of vehicles and homes and also parked vehicles at multiple locations, according to Arlington Heights police. The damage appears to be caused by pellets from a BB gun.

It appears the damage is random and police recommend parking vehicles in a garage or moving vehicles as far up driveways as possible.

Police released surveillance photos of the suspected vehicle from one of the incidents on Oct. 26 in the 2400 block of Evergreen Avenue.
