A man was shot in the leg in the Rogers Park neighborhood early Saturday near the city’s border with north suburban Evanston.

About 12:40 a.m., the 21-year-old got into an argument with a group of other people in the 7500 block of North Damen, according to Chicago Police. One of them then pulled a gun and shot him in the leg before taking off in a gray SUV, police said.

The man was taken to Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
