A man was shot Saturday afternoon while walking in the Southwest Side Marquette Park neighborhood.

The 19-year-old was walking in the 7000 block of South Artesian when he heard shots and realized he’d been hit in the back and left leg, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
