A man was critically wounded in a shooting Thursday night in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The 25-year-old was shot multiple times at 9:08 p.m. in the 5600 block of West Washington, according to Chicago Police. He was getting into a vehicle when another vehicle pulled up and someone got out and fired shots.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was in critical condition, police said.
